KOPS SOCIETY #2 OH

Mahoning, Portage, Stark, Summit and Trumbull Counties

KOPS Society #2OH was formed over 45 years ago. It serves the five counties in Area Coordinator Elaine Cottrill's region (Mahoning, Portage, Stark, Summit and Trumbull).

We meet on the first Thursday every other month (February, April, June, August, October and December) at 6:30 p.m. at the Waterloo Restaurant in Akron.  You may order something to eat from the menu (optional) and then we have a brief meeting.  Everything is normally concluded no later that 8:00 p.m.

Two of the longest standing area KOPS, Doris Lutz and Jennie Kaminski, have been involved since the inception of our KOPS Society and continue to be active and an inspiration to those of us who have followed in their footsteps.

As we all know, the ultimate goal of all TOPS members is to reach KOPS status. As KOPS Society members, we feel it is also important to provide support to each other in  maintaining this status.

All KOPS are invited to join us as we continue to Keep Off Pounds Sensibly.  We would like nothing better that to see all area KOPS at our next meeting.

If you have any questions or would just like to chat, please call Karen Jones at (330) 745-1503 or e-mail at kjones2@neo.rr.com
