Established June 1, 2009
Lorain, Erie, Huron, Ottawa and Sandusky Counties
Four KOPS and one guest met for the KOPS Society meeting at Perkins Restaurant. KOPS anniversary dates that were celebrated were Ruth Wheeler with 2 years and Tana O’Donnell with 44 years who will be honored at the next meeting since she was unable to attend.
The program centered around each member stating at least one thing she accomplished during 2018. We were happy to hear about all of the good things that happened throughout the year. We discussed how we compliment others for their accomplishments but often neglect crediting ourselves for what we do. Kaptain, Karen Hull observed that we are all “stars” in our own lives as well as in the lives of others. She challenged the members to remember that during the next few months.
The meeting was closed with the poem, “The KOPS Star. Each member present was given a star ornament to remind them that they are all stars.
The KOPS Society will meet April 20, 2019 for the next meeting.
